In March your student is being asked to take a survey at school. The survey includes questions about alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues, as well as questions about school safety and the learning environment. Student participation in the survey is voluntary. We hope that you will encourage your child to participate so that his or her opinion and knowledge can be used to improve the school. The survey is anonymous. No names or any other identifying information is connected to the answers except for the name of the school. If you have any questions please contact Kendra Peterson at 310-263-3268 or email@example.com.
African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC) will be held Wednesday, December 9th at 5:30PM.
Our speaker will be Lt. Robbie Williams from the Hawthorne Police Dept. he will be speaking to our parents on police and youth relations, how to keep our youth safe in the community and lastly, how can we as a parent group support positive relations with law enforcement.
Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, to ensure the safety of our students, staff, families and community, schools will remain closed until further notice. We want our students in school for face-to-face learning and hope to transition to a hybrid model by second quarter, if not second semester. Students remain our top priority and we will do everything possible to protect them, while maintaining our dedication to every student graduating ready for college, career ... and life.
